REVIEW by Charity: The Roam Series by Kimberly Stedronsky (@plantingmoon)

Roam Camden is a bright girl in small town Ohio, eager to graduate high school and pursue her dreams of teaching history. Her well-planned path includes Logan, her life-long best friend… and now boyfriend.
On the first day of her senior year she meets the new history teacher, West Perry, and senses that there is something deep within her soul that remembers him… and a life they once shared.
Roam quickly learns that her fate is not as simple as she once believed. She has spent six lifetimes, as far back as the fifteenth century to as recently as the 1970s, struggling to survive a prophecy that has forsaken her… and the man that she has loved throughout time.
Evil is near, and now, in their last life together, West must protect Roam for the last time, save their unborn child… and in turn, save our world.

This series was like an all consuming fire during the month of November. I couldn’t put it down! It was like heroine; not that I’ve ever tried heroine, but this is what I imagine the mental addiction would be like.?. Anyway, I think you get my point. It’s difficult to review an entire 6 book series. So forgive me if my ramblings and praise are a bit nebulous. With that said The Roam Series follows the lives of an ensemble cast with Roam Camden as the main protagonist. The reader will travel through time, dimensions, alternate universes, reincarnation and past lives. I was always taken aback when any of the characters would travel through time and upon arriving at their destination would say, “ Am I in the past, or is this a past life?” When you read this series statements like that will oddly make sense. But that gives you a taste of the cray-cray journey these books will takes you on. Also, I must confess that I literally cried and was so heart sick during so many gut wrenching moments. So mad props to Ms. Stedronsky for writing such a masterpiece that the characters literally came to life thus, turning me into a hot-mess of tears and snot. My poor husband had to endure my moments of anguish and despair; bless his heart. And oh my gosh, lest I forget, the creativity within this series is staggering! In fact, just stop reading this silly review right now and go buy the series already!
There really isn’t anything I could say that I didn’t like about The Roam Series. I suppose if I must get nit-picky then my biggest critique would be the cover art for all of the books. Cover art really does make a difference. I wager if the covers were a little more eye catching these books would receive and much broader audience.
So, if you love mystery, romance, thrillers, and sci-fi you will adore The Roam Series.
