Class: How to Drive Him Crazy
Instructional program for women unexpectedly facing the totally dishy guy from their past. Everyone welcome!
NHL coach Mark Diego’s plan to spend his off-season volunteering in his hometown goes awry when he learns that not only is he coaching teenage girls, but that the program is coordinated by energetic (and five feet two inches of trouble) coordinator Rainey Saunders, his childhood friend—and the woman he could never stand to see dating any other guy….
When their tempers flare, Mark and Rainey discover their fireworks don’t just burn angry—they burn very, very hot! But that’ll just sweeten the victory. Because Mark always plays to win. And with Rainey, he’s planning on playing very dirty, too…

Ok, I feel absolutely TERRIBLE for what I’m about to write.  Jill, if you read this, please don’t hate me!

Being as Jill Shalvis is on my list of “fav” authors, I didn’t even read the “blurb” about the book~I NEVER do when it comes to her.  I just saw her name and wanted to read it, as EVERY book of hers that I’ve read up until this point has been REALLY GOOD.  I guess she was due to write something that I didn’t like.

I can’t even sum up this book, except to say it was pretty much one LOOOOONG sex scene.  Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a good sex scene as much as the next girl, but if I wanted it to this extent, I’d have bought an erotica book. It seems like what little of a plot there was, was thrown in to break up sex scenes.  And, guessing what was going to happen with the characters was most definitely a no-brainer.

Rainey and Mark have known each other since childhood. Having a huge crush on Mark, Rainey even tried to lose her virginity to him when she was 16 by surprising him in his apartment, only to find him in a compromising position with another woman. Rainey has never really forgiven Mark for what happened when she was a teen, even though he did nothing wrong, but finds she is still attracted to him just as much as before, yada-yada-yada.  As you can guess, Mark and Rainey end up working together, and of course, falling in love.
I really, really hate to give Jill a bad review.  I can’t stress that enough.  If you haven’t read her before, I DO recommend her….just not THIS book.  Check out Simply Irresistible, or Animal Magnetism.
