Review – Dead Reckoning by Charlaine Harris

With her knack for being in trouble’s way, Sookie witnesses the firebombing of Merlotte’s, the bar where she works. Since Sam Merlotte is now known to be two-natured, suspicion falls immediately on the anti-shifters in the area. Sookie suspects otherwise, but her attention is divided when she realizes that her lover Eric Northman and his “child” Pam are plotting to kill the vampire who is now their master. Gradually, Sookie is drawn into the plot-which is much more complicated than she knows…

FINALLY!  I got to finish reading and review Dead Reckoning. Now you will have to excuse me for a moment as I try to scrape my jaw off of the floor….. Nope, still didn’t work. Dear Charlaine Harris – I AM FLOORED. Dead Reckoning was mind blowing and infuriating at the same time. Mind blowing because Sookie did something that I NEVER would have done if I was in her place. Infuriating because this book was left with one HELL of a cliff hanger! If ever there was a book in this series that left you NEEDING to read the next book, it is Dead Reckoning. This is definitely in my top 3 favorites for this series.

I’m honestly stumped on what else to write for this review. Not because I have nothing to say. I am stumped because I have TOO MUCH to say and I dont want to say too much for fear of dropping details that will ruin it for readers everywhere. So with that, I will say two things – 1.) I have my fingers crossed that everything will work out the way I want it to and 2.) what would YOU wish for if you had the cluviel dor????

Dead Reckoning gets 5 stars!!!
