REVIEW by @TimsGirk: The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger

The Time Travelers Wife is a debut novel for author Audrey Niffenegger. This book was published in 2003 and was transformed into the film version which was released in 2009. It is a novel that is in first person however it is in the two main characters points of view alternating as it goes through time.

You meet Henry DeTamble and Clare Abshire and follow them through life as they deal with trials and tribulations of the deep love for one another and longing to be with one another when they are constantly pulled into seperate directions and Henry into seperate times. This is a wonderful tale of love ( in my opinion) and of longing and loss. I fell in love with this story and I love the change in perspective with each turn of the page. I enjoyed to be able to see the story from not just one persons point of view but both main characters get to express them selves and how they are feeling. The only downfall I felt was that it was left open ended with no real closer as to what happens with both characters. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a modern romance story with a twist.
I give it 4 stars!
