Though Dante is committed to living clean for his girlfriend Charlie, this dude’s been a playboy for far too long…and old demons die hard.
With Charlie becoming the girl she was never able to be pre-makeover and Aspen showing him how delicious it feels to embrace his inner beast, Dante will have to go somewhere he never thought he’d return to in order to accomplish the impossible: save the girl he’s been assigned to, and keep the girl he loves.

What I Liked:
I love this story! I love all the lore behind it. I love the intricately thought out story line. The Liberator carries us on the next leg of our journey with Dante and friends (doesn’t that sound like a kids cartoon???) and the action never stops. As with the first book, this one is filled with well-woven twists and turns that keep you guessing. I dont normally read YA books. Not that I have anything against YA, I just like my reads to be a little more….ahem……adult. However, The Liberator took the story line and brought it up another level so it didn’t feel like I was reading a YA book. I wont give details, but I can say there are some steamier moments in this one. If you’re expecting straight-up YA, be warned. I wouldn’t say it is “adult” or anything, but it’s not as innocent as the first book was. I am filing that tidbit under ‘What I Liked’ because I dont feel that was a bad point for this book at all. The Liberator, just likeThe Collector, is also filled with hilarious sarcasm. Be prepared to laugh at inappropriate times!
What I Didn’t Like:
I dont really know how to answer this. I loved the book, but I felt like Dante has become too soft in this book. One of the reasons I fell in love with this character is because he is a bad ass. I wish some of that badassery which was so apparent in The Collector (Dante Walker #1) had been more so in this book. That being said, he IS still a rock star in my eyes. He just fell in love. Wink wink.
I also felt The Liberator started a little slower than The Collector, but, at the same time, it was good build up. So, if you read The Collector and are going into this book, stick with it. The slow part doesn’t last long and the rest of the book is well worth the wait!
Who I Would Recommend It To:
I would recommend this one to fans of paranormal, YA romance, and badassedness. I am DYING to read the next book!!!
