RELEASE DAY REVIEW by Lorna: Deep (Stage Dive #4) by Kylie Scott (@KylieScottbooks , @Mollykatie112)

81Qn3OjJ24L._SL1500_Don’t miss a beat with the fourth and final novel in the New York Times and USA Today bestselling Stage Dive series from Kylie Scott.

Positive. With two little lines on a pregnancy test, everything in Lizzy Rollins’ ordinary life is about to change forever. And all because of one big mistake in Vegas with Ben Nicholson, the irresistibly sexy bass player for Stage Dive. So what if Ben’s the only man she’s ever met who can make her feel completely safe, cherished, and out of control with desire at the same time? Lizzy knows the gorgeous rock star isn’t looking for anything more permanent than a good time, no matter how much she wishes differently.

Ben knows Lizzy is off limits. Completely and utterly. She’s his best friend’s little sister now, and no matter how hot the chemistry is between them, no matter how sweet and sexy she is, he’s not going to go there. But when Ben is forced to keep the one girl he’s always had a weakness for out of trouble in Sin City, he quickly learns that what happens in Vegas, doesn’t always stay there. Now he and Lizzie are connected in the deepest way possible…but will it lead to a connection of the heart?

When I started this series with the book Lick, I had no idea that I would totally fall in love with all the characters, and their stories as well. Mega rock stars, and their romances? I am so there. And these in particular are so well written that I literally can’t put these down until I am finished. Consequently, they are very fast reads. I received a copy from the author by way of Net Galley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Lizzy is Anne’s sister and Mel’s (the drummer of Stage Dive) sister-in-law. She’s twenty and a college student. Anne practically raised her due to parent problems, so Anne pretty much treats her almost as her own child-and if not that, her best friend. So since Anne is part of the Stage Dive family now, Lizzy is as well. The minute Lizzy sees Ben, the guitarist for Stage Dive, she is smitten. He’s pretty smitten with her as well, but Mel warns him off, and pretty much threatens Ben to leave her alone. Ben is a known womanizer, and Mel doesn’t want that for his new sister. This is the story of what happens when Lizzy decides to take matters into her own hands, and go after Ben.

The characters are definitely the stars of these books. The members of the bands personalities practically leap off the page-Mel in particular. All of the characters from the other books are all back for this story as well. I always love to see what they are all up to. Lizzy is the perfect little sister to Anne, but when she meets Ben, all bets are off. She knows what she wants in life, and that just happens to be Ben. Ben wants her as well, but as he is not a relationship guy,he knows that Mel is right, that he should stay away from her. In the previous books, Mel was always the jokester, completely irreverent. He is still is, but now with a wife and new sister, he has decided to take on the role of protector, and at times, for the first time, he made me mad. If you read this book, I think you will understand. Don’t get me wrong, he’s absolutely still my favorite member of Stage Dive, and still inspired more then his share of the laughs in this book. Anne is also, if nothing else, her sister’s biggest fan, and protector as well. She’s almost ferocious in her caring about Lizzie. As with all of these books, I adored all of these characters.

I enjoyed the premise of this story, and while reading thought this is probably my favorite of the books. But then I thought about when I read the other books, and I remember thinking that about those books as well. However, the main concept of the book, totally drew me in and wouldn’t let me stop reading. I will let you find out what the premise is for yourself though. No spoilers!

So. All of the band members have found their loves. Is this the end of the series for real? I have no idea, but there is a character introduced that I think should have his own book. He’s a member of the back-up band on the tour with Stage Dive, and becomes very friendly with Lizzy. A good guy, and I think I would enjoy seeing him find his happily ever after..

I highly recommend this to adult romance fans, especially those that love a great rock star book.
