BookMojo’s refund policy varies by product. All refunds will be processed and issued within 30 calendar days of the refund request.

For the PR Ninja or PR Titan Packages: If a client requests a refund on an annual PR Ninja or PR Titan package, the refunded amount will be the package price net the individual cost of all promotions run from the start of the package to the date of the refund request. If the cost of the promotions run comes to more than the amount paid for the package, the client has the option to cancel the refund request and accept a $0 refund or be billed for the difference due for services rendered.

For PA Services: Any unworked hours will be fully refunded upon request. All hours are tracked down to the minute on a shared Google spreadsheet which has timestamped revision tracking.

For Virtual Book Tours, Book Blitzes, or Cover Reveals: With refund requests on virtual book tours, book blitzes, or cover reveals, the promotion is fully refundable until the promotion’s materials have been built and the blogger booking has been sent. Once the booking request has been sent, the client may cancel the promotion but the promotion will not be refunded.

For Premade Book Covers: Premade book covers are fully refundable until the final proof is approved. Once the final proof is approved, the sale of the cover is final.

For Newsletter Features: Features are fully refundable until the newsletter is sent out to our mailing list.

For Website Designs: Once the final design concept is approved and transferred to the author’s website, no refund will be issued.

For All Other Services: Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The determining factor will be the amount of work completed. All of our work is tracked for 100% transparency so there is no room left for doubt regarding the amount of work put in on the author’s behalf.

With the advancement and increasing use of generative artificial intelligence (generative AI) in the production of book cover artwork and in the writing of manuscripts, we now have to screen the books submitted to BookMojo for feature or promotion. BookMojo can not and will not promote a book we know is or may be violating a copyright or a trademark. Generative AI puts both of those at risk. Generative AI compiles previously “learned” data into content. That data “learning” is done through the program’s consumption of free use and copyrighted artwork, images, film, books, newspaper articles, blog posts, social media, literally anything on the internet, etc.. Regardless of medium, the generative AI result is not an original work, nor is it recognized as such by the United States Copyright Office or the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

BookMojo does not and will never use generative AI for any of our services. Not images for promotional use, paid ads, or book covers, and not for any copywriting such as blurb retooling, newsletter management, or website construction.

Books written with or book covers made in part or in whole with generative AI are no longer accepted for promotion or feature.
